Welcome to the new Identity Website!

Identity is a youth/teen center for people ages 14-20. We are a "safe space" for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning individuals but also welcome any youth in general.

Identity is located at 206 State State street in Binghamton NY

Wednesday May 16th: Open discussion!

 

 

Come this Wednesday to be part of our "Open discussion" Beyond the Rainbow wall. There is no specific topic but that is a great opportunity to talk about things YOU want to talk about. They can be exciting, proud moments, or something you need support on, or just to talk and see what comes up.
We are open 2:30-8
This discussion will be from 5-6.


 

Friday, May 18th!


Come enjoy our usual Friday fun. Play some games, eat some pizza and other snacks, make some art, and just hang out with friends and come meet some new people.

Identity is a community teen center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, same gender loving, transgender, and questioning youth and their straight allies in the Southern Tier of New York State. Identity serves as a safe place for LGBTQ teens ages 14-20 to find support, ask questions, hang out, and express themselves. We also provide resources, education and support to the families, friends, and allies of LGBTQ teens, and access to education, health care, and social service providers wanting to better serve youth.

Bi Weekly:

Identity Now helps hold a Transgender support group every other Thursday! This group is for anyone of any age who identifies as transgender, genderqueer, gender noncomforming, gender questioning, or anything inside or outside of the gender "spectrum". Meetings are from 6-7pm at Identity (206 state street) and is facilitated by a someone who identifies as Transgender themselves. This meets Biweekly! This support group is 100% FREE

Next Meeting is May 10th at 6pm!
