
The Identity Space
The Identity youth center is located at 206 State Street in downtown Binghamton. Identity is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning youth and their allies aged 14-20, and all programs, services, and activities are always free! If you’re a teenager who believes in individuality and equality, you belong at Identity!
We’re open from 3 to 8 Wednesdays, and 3 to 10 pm Fridays so drop by to hang out or talk, or come to our weekly programs or special events.

When you first come into Identity, you’ll notice an entertainment system, with a big screen TV and XBox, a cozy reading corner for studying, computers for web surfing or homework, a dance floor, and a kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Grab yourself a soda and get comfy.

Identity provides life skills and employment readiness programs, support discussion groups, creative arts workshops, HIV, substance abuse and tobacco prevention, HIV an STI education as well as fun social activities.
