TO IDENTITY LGBTQ+ YOUTH CENTER
A place to explore yourself, discover yourself, and be yourself.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Tuesday and Thursday
3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Beyond the Rainbow Wall (BTRW)
Beyond the Rainbow Wall is a one hour educational program where we sit down together to discuss interesting and important topics that affect LGBTQ+ youth and their allies such as bullying, safer sex, and job hunting.
Days and times vary.
Youth Leadership Council
Identity’s youth leadership council, The Council, is an opportunity for youth who want to be involved in planning programming and events and volunteering within the space to have their voices heard. The youth leadership council elects its own leaders, and every youth who attends gets a vote on how Identity operates!
Our Peer Youth Educators
Peers are a very important part of Identity, and they help the center to run smoothly by interacting with both the staff and the youth. They are always more than happy to be a friend to lean on or an open mind to hear your thoughts. If you are unsure of something or uncomfortable, the Peers are always people you can trust to come to and be open and honest with.
Identity has adult volunteers who serve as mentors, share their passions, and assist with programming and special events. Interested? Contact us!
